Statement of Faith

in essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all else, charity

  • We believe there is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe man is by nature a sinner from birth, separate from God, and eternally lost until salvation.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the true God and the true man.  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.  He died upon the cross, the Just for the unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.  He arose from the dead according to the Scriptures.  He is now at the right hand of Majesty on high as our great High Priest.  He will come again to establish His kingdom, righteousness and peace.
  • We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person, sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer, and convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement.
  • We believe the Bible, inerrant as originally given, was verbally inspired by God and is a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men.  It constitutes the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice.
  • We believe that salvation is a free gift, bestowed by God's grace, and received by faith in Jesus Christ alone.
  • We believe Christians are endowed with spiritual gifts which enable them to minister in the church.
  • We believe in the unity of believers through our common faith in Jesus Christ and that individual doctrinal differences, which may exist, should not hinder the unity of Christian home educators.
